Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to provide and secure Cazny. We do not sell your personal information, show advertisements, or use your account data for advertising.

Your business data remains private unless you choose to share it through a Cazny feature.

Account information. Your name, email address, password in hashed form, account settings, and subscription status.

Business data. The clients, agreements, projects, tasks, timesheets, invoices, payment records, documents, and other information you add to Cazny.

Messages. Your email address and the content you send when you contact us for support or feedback.

Technical data. Information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested, and the date and time of a request may be recorded in server logs.

We use information to provide the service, authenticate accounts, deliver requested features, respond to support, maintain subscriptions, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and improve reliability.

We may also use or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect a person’s safety, or defend the security and integrity of Cazny.

Cazny uses cookies and similar browser storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in, remembering product preferences, and protecting forms.

Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working. We do not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.

If you subscribe to a paid Cazny plan, payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor. Cazny does not store your complete card details.

This billing is for your Cazny subscription. Payment records you add for your own clients are stored as business data; Cazny does not process those client payments.

We share information only when needed to run Cazny—for example with providers that host the service, deliver email, or process subscription payments—or when required by law. These providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Information may also be shared with a client or another person when you explicitly use a sharing feature, such as sending an invoice or providing portal access.

We retain account and business data while your account remains active. You may close your account and request permanent deletion by emailing us.

Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, security logs, billing records, or where retention is required by law. It is removed or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No online service can promise absolute security.

If you discover a security issue, please report it privately through our Contact page.

You may ask us for a copy of your personal information, request a correction, or request deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights.

Cazny is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this policy as Cazny changes. The revised policy takes effect when posted here, and the date above will show the latest revision. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you.
